Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Child Psych San Diego provides evidence-based cognitive behavioral therapy for children, teens, and young adults with such concerns as:
- Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) using Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy 
- Anxiety (generalized anxiety, social anxiety, separation anxiety, and panic attacks) 
- Phobias (emetophobia (fear of vomiting), blood and needle phobias, animal phobias, and agoraphobia) 
- School Avoidance 
- Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) 
- Oppositional and Defiant Behavior

Comprehensive Behavioral Intervention for Tics (CBIT)
I offer and hold specialty certification in Comprehensive Behavioral Intervention for Tics (CBIT) for Tourette Syndrome and other tic disorders. CBIT is a first-line treatment for these conditions. I also provide Habit Reversal Therapy (HRT) for body-focused repetitive behaviors, such as hair-pulling, skin-picking, and thumb-sucking.
Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE)
I provide SPACE treatment for children and adolescents with anxiety, OCD, and related problems. SPACE is a parent-based treatment to help you learn skills and tools to help your child overcome their worries and fears. When SPACE treatment is successful, children feel less anxious and function better in their environments.

Psychological and neurodevelopmental assessments include:
